Overview
Alunatico is a mid-luxury seaside concept hotel in Sardinia, for travellers who appreciate authenticity and cultural experiences, mixed with a modern setting.
The concept was developed when discovering a logo idea and building out AI workflows for image generation that quickly lead to a passion project and full built out of the brand.
Visual Identity
The identity is built around a refined wordmark paired with a distinct fox symbol, an animal that is well known to the island- referencing a connection between name, animal and sea.
A restrained Mediterranean palette combines, coastal blues and sandy neutrals. The typography illustrates the connection between luxurious and authenticity with a serif, sans-serif and handwritten font, without overpowering the design.
The result is a visual identity that sits between boutique hospitality, contemporary lifestyle and Sardinian heritage.
Website
The website translates the hotel's identity into an immersive image led experience. The site is designed to make visitors want to be there and can't get the estate out of their head. The navigation is deliberately different allowing the photography, design and micro-animations to carry the excitement.
The booking journey keeps the familiar expectations of booking at its core. The project explores how it can feel more distinctive through design, finding a balance between familiarity and discovery.
The result is a website that feels less like a standard hotel website and more like a feeling of discovering the place.
