Overview
I collaborated with CO OP and was assigned to create a web design to market a new signature flag building as an addition to the Seattle skyline. The building boasts an impressive exterior, and presents a unique human-centered space with various offerings. What makes this building stand out even more is its 16000 SF Sky Park outdoor space on the upper levels.
Website
The central feature of this website is the reverse scrolling functionality. While the user scrolls downward the website actually scroll upwards, so the user can explore the different floors of the property. This design choice creates a sense of discovery and goes hand in hand with the project’s concept ‘The Future Is Up’, hence making the browsing experience more engaging and memorable.
In addition it was important to offer a structured layout of information, as well as to provide visitors with plenty of options to discover the floors with interactive floor plans and galleries of renderings.
Icons & Illustrations
Creating custom icons was pivotal to further enhance the brand recognition. Those are mainly used in the menu overlay and makes it extremely easy for the user to find the content they would like to navigate to.
In addition, the menu icon is made in the shape of the building’s net design detail.
